Airfares: SC disposes of petition against PIA
The reply denied allegations of the increase fares.
ISLAMABAD:
The Supreme Court disposed of on Thursday a petition against the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) for increases in airfares for Hajj and Umrah upon receiving a satisfactory reply from the PIA Chairman.
The reply denied allegations of the increase and stated that PIA, like any other airline in the world, increases its fares in accordance with the principle of revenue management.
