PTI woman official files case against own party workers
Shah Latif Town Police registered a case against a PTI worker and other unidentified persons on Tuesday for allegedly harassing a female official of the party's women wing.
The case has been registered under Sections 354, 504 and 506/34 against the accused PTI worker Arsal Khan along with other unnamed persons by complainant Sanobar Farhan, an official of the PTI's women wing.
According to the complainant, as a worker of the PTI's female wing, she was present at a party procession on March 6 atop the ladies' container under Malir Bridge, Quaidabad Chowk.
"I was accompanied by other female workers on the container, including Ambreen, when PTI worker Arsal Khan and 10 to 12 other unidentified persons came and climbed on the container and started harassing me," her statement read.

Farhan claimed that the accused made strange gestures towards her, used derogatory language to harass and "even got down from the container and threatened me".
According to the complainant, all these incidents were witnessed by her colleague Ambreen, as well as other women workers, who later informed the party officials.
Police have registered a case against the accused, including those named by the women workers, and have handed the case over to investigation officers for further inquiry.
