Man defrauded of over Rs100,000
A former head constable of federal police has allegedly defrauded a man of Rs150,000.
The plaintiff lodged a complaint with the Aabpara police Muhammad Sajjad Hussain, who was a former head constable, has swindled Rs150,000 from his nephew by tricking him to induct him in the Federal Investigation Agency.
The complainant said that Sajjad returned Rs55,000 but he was refusing to return Rs 95,000.
He told the police that the former head constable had been dismissed from service after he was found defrauding people.
The police have registered a case against the accused, who is still at large.
Meanwhile, the Airpor Security Force recovered 21 pistol bullets from the luggage of a passenger at the Islamabad International Airport. The passenger was bound for the United Arab Emirates and arrested him.
According to the ASF, Raja Ashfaq, a resident of Gujjar Khan, was on his way to Dubai on a flight (EK-615) when during a search of his luggage 21 bullets were found from his luggage.
The passenger was handed over to the police after a preliminary investigation.
