MQM-P says backing govt a matter of principles

Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said opposition was ready for moving the no-trust motion against the premier

As the political atmosphere heats up ahead of no-confidence motion of the opposition in the National Assembly, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said, “it is time for PM Imran Khan to visit our headquarters.

Let us see when he comes.” Leader of MQM-P, an ally of PTI in the National Assembly, said, “Our support is based on principles, not on the prices of petroleum products.”

He expressed these views while talking to media on the occasion of unveiling of book by MQM leader Rauf Siddiqui at Karachi Press Club. Rauf’s book Bismillah-ur-Rehman-ur-Rahim was unveiled in Urdu, English and Arabic.

Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said opposition was ready for moving the no-trust motion against the premier, but they have not shared any plan about what would follow this move.
