PTI changes route to avoid PPP rally
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) were heading for collision course, as their rallies were heading north and south, and might come face-to-face on National Highway at Naushehro Feroz,.
PTI claims to be an ‘unstoppable force’ whereas the PPP claims to be an ‘immovable object’ in Sindh. Avoiding a faceoff with the PPP, the PTI on Tuesday changed the route to avert an expected clash between emotionally charged workers and supporters.
PTI Sindh chapter's General Secretary, Mubeen Jatoi said that the route of 'Sindh Haqooq march' has been changed to avoid any untoward situation.
He said that the march was to go through Naushehro Feroz, which has been cancelled. According to a PTI spokesman, Mubeen Jatoi alleged that PPP has shown irresponsible attitude by changing the route of their rally.
