Power, gas shortages: FPCCI demands end to load-shedding
Industrial and agricultural sectors should be given priority in energy to strengthen the national economy.

The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) demanded on Thursday that the industrial and agricultural sectors should be exempted from power and gas load-shedding.
FPCCI President Senator Haji Ghulam Ali, SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vice President Iftikhar Ali Malik and Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Shahzad Ali Malik said in a joint statement that the government should give priority to the industrial and agricultural sectors to help strengthen the national economy. They said that all modern economies ensured uninterrupted supply of gas and power to the industrial and agricultural sectors even in case of acute shortages.
