Adnan Siddiqui encourages local fan asking Kohli to play in Pakistan

Actor took to Twitter to laud the gesture of goodwill

After a local fan of Indian cricketer Virat Kohli held up a poster asking him to visit Pakistan, actor Adnan Siddiqui took to Twitter to laud the gesture of goodwill. The fan could be seen smiling into the camera at the stadium, holding up a picture of Kohli with a caption that read, "I want to see your century in Pakistan."

Siddiqui retweeted the image, writing, "What a beautiful message! This world needs more love and minimal hate." The actor continued, "And yes, we do let our people support and cheer for other countries irrespective of diplomatic ties."

This is not the first time the actor has encouraged cross-border love, with Siddiqui recently sharing a fan moment with Indian composer A R Rahman at the Dubai Expo 2020. Posting a selfie of the two, Siddiqui penned, "It was an evening not to be forgotten ever." The Mom star then shared how he had booked his flight back home on December 21 but then decided to stay back for Rahman's live performance.
