At least six people including two women were killed in three different incidents in district Manshera.

In the first, the accused opened fire on Lal Shahzad and his daughter Pari Jan in the Tarapi area of Pulrah. The attackers fled away after committing the crime.

Mansehra police registered a double murder case against seven accused, including Waqar Shah, his brother Sardar Shah, Shah Farzand, Shah Peer and others. Police also began an operation to arrest the fleeing accused.

In the second incident, two persons were killed in a land dispute in the Baffa area. According to police, 35-year-old Waqas was planting a tree in a disputed land, when his two cousins Muhammad Liaqat and Sadaqat showed up. After an exchange of hot words, Sadaqat attacked Waqas with a knife and injured him. In self-defence, Waqas also opened fire with his pistol on Liaqat and killed him on the spot. The injured, Waqas, could not survive and died in the hospital.

In the third incident, a man shot dead his wife Fakhira Bibi over a domestic issue in the Jabba area. Meanwhile, the niece of the women also came in the firing range and died on the spot.
