Plot owner says officials plotted against him
The Sindh High Court (SHC) has directed the authorities to ensure the implementation of the contempt of court petition filed against deputy director of SBCA Korangi for re-occupation, despite giving the citizen an alternative place.
A two-member bench headed by Justice Syed Hassan Azhar Rizvi heard the contempt of court petition.
The counsel for the petitioner contended that my client had purchased the plot from the official Asaini through the banking court. After the dispute, the authorities gave a plot at Landhi UC-18 Meerat Park. The deputy commissioner Korangi and other officials are intervening when construction begins. The contempt of court proceedings should be initiated against SBCA deputy commissioner Korangi and others.
The court was angry with the SBCA officials for not complying with the decision. Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi remarked, “Don’t make fun of the court. If the order is not implemented, you will lose your job.”
The court directed the authorities to ensure implementation within 15 days.
