The Secretary of Transport of Punjab, Rai Manzoor Nasir, visited the Dera Gujran Station of the Orange Line Metro Train (OLMT) on Thursday to review the facilities being provided to the commuters.
Expressing his concerns over sanitation arrangements at the OLMT, he ordered awarding of cleaning contract to another company.
The Secretary of the Punjab Mass Transit Authority, Nabila Javed, the General Manager (Operations), Syed Uzair Shah, the representatives of the Chinese contractors and the officers of relevant departments were also present on the occasion.

The delegation was briefed about the working while the transport secretary inspected various sections of the train. The secretary also reviewed the anti-corona standard operating procedures (SOPs) and asked the passengers about the facilities. Later, the delegation took a ride from the Dera Gujran Station to Anarkali Station on the train.
Secretary Rai Manzoor also inspected the Lakshmi Chowk Station to review the facilities being provided to the passengers.
The travellers expressed their satisfaction over provision of modern transport facilities.
