Sindh information minister says people ready to accompany Bilawal to Islamabad

Sindh Information and Labour Minister, Saeed Ghani, has said that upcoming public long march of Pakistan People's Party, commencing from Karachi on February 27, is going to the biggest long march in the history of Pakistan.

The minister, who is also PPP Karachi's President, stated this on Thursday while chairing a meeting of the organising committee of the party formed for making arrangements for upcoming long march. He said the unaffordable hike in the prices of essential commodities during the tenure of present government has caused massive suffering to the common people.

He said, the people of Pakistan want to get rid of the present government that utterly lacks competence and eligibility to run the affairs of the country. For this reason the masses pin their hopes on PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

He said the underprivileged sections of society had been facing immense hardships to make both ends meet after the latest ill-advised decision of the present government to increase per litre petrol by Rs12.

Speaking on the occasion, PPP Sindh General Secretary, Waqar Mehdi said that preparations are in full swing for the upcoming long march to be held under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari which will prove to be the last nail in the coffin of the present government.

PPP Karachi Division General-Secretary, Jawed Nagori said the Karachi chapter of the People's Party has formed committees in all the districts of the city to mobilise people for the long march while thousands of people are ready to take part in the upcoming long march. Thousands of people of Karachi will use their vehicles to accompany PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to go to Islamabad.
