Sharing a selfie with the Fix You crooner, the former Strings member wrote, "Never, ever, in my wildest dreams did I imagine this moment. Chris Martin. Coldplay after-party. Dubai." He added, "What a fan moment. What an experience."
Sharing some details about their conversation, the Sajni singer wrote, "And the icing on the cake, my brief conversation about Amjad Sabri, Coke Studio and Strings. I still can't get over it!"
Reacting to Kapadia's wholesome post, his former bandmate Bilal Maqsood expressed his surprise in the comments, with Xulfi writing, "Maza aa gaya yeh dekh ke [Loved seeing this]," along with a white heart emoji. Anoushey Ashraf, Natasha Baig and Bilal Ali also commented on the post.
Kapadia was also spotted at a Diwali Celebration in November alongside Indian composer Salim Merchant, actors R Madhavan, Rohit Roy and Pakistani Ghazal singer Talat Aziz, hosted by Indian Singer Sonu Nigam at his residence in Dubai.
The singer took to Instagram to share photos from the evening celebration. Kapadia permanently moved to Dubai after the dissolution of the band.
Martin revealed in December that the hugely successful British band will stop recording in 2025, while assuring they will continue touring.
Coldplay, known for hits such as Yellow and Clocks, released their first studio album Parachutes in 2000.
