Twitter reacts as Islamabad beat Karachi in last-ball thriller

Babar and co lost seventh consecutive match to beat Lahore's record of six defeats on the trot

KARACHI:

Karachi Kings registered a new record of seven consecutive defeats in HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) after losing by one run to Islamabad United on Monday, leaving behind Lahore Qalandars, who had lost six matches on the trot in the 2018 edition.

Twitter went crazy when the match, where Islamabad United were comfortably strolling to victory was turned on its head by Imad Wasim and Qasim Akram. However, Waqas Masood held his nerves and defended eight runs off the last over to give Islamabad a much-needed victory.
