Veteran singer Asha Bhosle resorted to her archive of childhood pictures with her late sister, the legendary Lata Mangeshkar. Sharing a picture of the sisters as kids, Asha reminisced the years they spent together in an emotional post on Instagram. The picture was posted on Sunday a few hours after her sister’s state honoured cremation.

In a whirlwind of memories and nostalgia, Bhosle posted a black-and-white photo featuring a young Mangeshkar, with a flower in her hair, sitting with her. "Bachpan ke din bhi kya din the (What a wonderful childhood it was). Didi and I," the 88-year-old singer wrote.

From sisters to collaborative artists, Bhosle and Mangeshkar shared glorious memories in both, their personal and professional lives.
