ISLAMABAD:

Justice Qazi Faez Isa on Wednesday directed the authorities concerned to impose fine on the car belonging to the security squad of Balochistan’s governor for using black films on the vehicle’s door glass.

The judge came across the car while it was parked near the Judges Gate when he was coming back to the Supreme Court from the oath-taking ceremony at the President House.

A fine of Rs600 was imposed on his directives while the traffic police took off the tinted covers from the door glass.

A day earlier, media reports said that Justice Isa had ordered the removal of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Sehat Insaf adverts from the streets of Islamabad.

Earlier in the day, Justice Umar Ata Bandial was sworn in as the new Chief Justice of Pakistan. President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan and leaderships of all the institutions attended the ceremony.
