PTI prepares to flex muscles in upcoming LG polls

Sarwar asks party workers to unite and support party candidates

Though the date of local government elections in Punjab is not yet finalised but the ruling party has mobilised its core strength, the youth.

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said, “The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers are our greatest strength and even today no one can hold a gathering bigger than the PTI.”

Addressing a breakfast meetup hosted in honour of the PTI workers from South Punjab, Sarwar underlined that in upcoming local government elections, the party workers should unite and support the PTI candidates. When everyone will contest the election together PTI will definitely win.

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan has already stated that party tickets in Punjab local government elections will be given truly on merit.

“No one should have doubt, Prime Minister Imran Khan has always pursued a principled and ideological policy, he clarified and added that Imran Khan believes in the rule of law and constitution in the country and his mission is equal development in the whole country,” the governor said.

“The steps taken by the government to provide facilities like health and education to the people are unprecedented. Projects such as the health card and the Ehsas programme are also a testament to the government's public friendliness.

Sarwar hosted a breakfast in honour of the workers of Multan division.
