CM urges opp to stop politicising Covid
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said the opposition parties have no agenda but to spread anarchy and chaos in the country through their negative propaganda.
“The opposition has proved that their politics does not base on any principle or ideology. Those who are politicising the coronavirus issue should refrain from negative politics. Leaders from the opposition have no interest in the peoples' welfare,” Buzdar remarked. “The people are fully aware of the past performance of these parties that ruined the national economy. The rejected elements are confused to see the country moving into the right direction.” The CM said politics of propaganda was their old tactics.
“These people are criticising the government just for political point scoring. The government led by PM Imran Khan has laid the foundation for real change as curbing corruption and looting is the top priority of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.”

The chief minister said another defeat in the Senate should be a lesson for the opposition. The opposition will get the same surprises in the future as well.
Buzdar said the opposition faced embarrassment and disappointment in the Senate, adding that these people can only make tall claims and shout hollow slogans. “The directionless and impractical opposition is facing internal disputes. The opposition had exhibited an undemocratic approach by protesting after getting defeat in the Senate.”
Earlier, the chief minister expressed sorrow and grief over the loss of lives in the incident of roof collapse in Baghbanpura. Buzdar extended sympathies and condolence with the bereaved family member and directed the authorities to provide best medical facilities to the injured. He also sought a report from the Lahore Division commissioner on this incident.
