Traffic diversion plan for HBL/PSL issued

The general public would not be allowed to travel on the National Stadium Road from Liaquatabad via Hassan Square.

In connection with the Pakistan Super League matches at the National Stadium, the traffic police announced alternative routes.

According to a statement issued by the traffic police, traffic coming from Karsaz will have to park under the stadium flyover at the National Coaching Center on Sir Shah Suleiman Road. Similarly, those coming to Millennium Mall and New Town will likewise be provided parking space at the National Coaching Centre. A parking lot has been set up at Hakim Saeed Ground on University Road to the right of Liaquatabad and Hassan Square for District Central and West. From there, the shuttle service will take spectators to the National Stadium. Similarly, people coming from Malir, Korangi, New Karachi and Gulshan-e-Iqbal will also use Hakim Saeed Ground Parking.

The general public would not be allowed to travel on the National Stadium Road from Liaquatabad via Hassan Square. All traffic will be diverted to University Road. Expo turning from University Road will also be closed. Meanwhile, traffic from Stadium Road to Hassan Square will continue.

All types of heavy traffic from Sohrab Goth to the NIPA, Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hassan Square, PP Chowrangi to University Road, Karsaz to Stadium and from Millennium to New Town are prohibited.
