‘Civil defense training essential for all’

Training conducted on daily basis by The Civil Defense Department Narowal

District Civil Defense Officer Asim Riaz Wahla said on Monday civil defense training is essential for citizens to ensure protection in case of any untoward incident.

He stated this while delivering a lecture at the government school institution.

He said that training was being conducted on daily basis by The Civil Defense Department Narowal under the special direction of Director Civil Defense Punjab and under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Narowal Saba Asghar.

The officer said that more than 20 sessions were conducted in about 10 different schools while hundreds of students were provided training for fire-fighting and first aid rescue.

The District Civil Defense Officer said the purpose of this training is to help people to avoid accidents and to minimize loss of life and to protect themselves and others in case of uncalled accidents.
