Elderly man dies of Covid-19 in Multan

Total number of deaths due to coronavirus at the hospital since April 1, 2020 has now risen to 931

MULTAN:

An 85-year-old man died of coronavirus in Nishtar Hospital, while three other patients were undergoing treatment for the ailment on Sunday.

Nushtar Hospital Focal Person Dr Irfan Arshad said the elderly coronavirus patient who died in the isolation ward was a resident of Khanewal.

He said the total number of deaths due to coronavirus at the hospital since April 1, 2020 has now risen to 931.

The doctor said the diagnostic test results of the three suspected patients of Covid-19 were awaited.

All the 32 ventilators allocated for coronavirus patients in the hospital all free. A spokesperson for the hospital said two of the suspected patients admitted to the isolation ward had not been vaccinated against the virus.
