'Land record digitisation nears completion'

BAHAWALPUR:

Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Irfan Ali Kathia on Saturday chaired a meeting to review progress on land record digitisation under the Punjab Land Record Authority.

The meeting was attended by senior officials, including Director General PLRA Ikramul Haq and Deputy Commissioners from across the division. Revenue officers also participated via video link.

Addressing the participants, the commissioner said digitization had significantly improved transparency, reduced delays in revenue cases and strengthened accountability.

He noted that digitization of land records in notified mauzas of the division was nearing completion.
