Inclement weather tough on flights, trains

Flights and trains throughout the country were delayed on Saturday due to inclement weather.

According to details, several flights of national and private airlines coming in and going out of the country were delayed.

Several flights of private airlines from Dubai, Qatar and London were cancelled while the domestic ones of national and private airlines between Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Multan were delayed causing inconvenience to the passengers.

On the other hand, 15 trains between Lahore, Karachi, Multan and other cities were delayed for hours.

The Awam Express and Pakistan Express were delayed for five hours, Pak Business Express for four-and-a-half hours, Shah Hussain Express for four hours, Farid Express and Rehman Baba Express for three hours, Allama Iqbal Express for two-and-a-half hours, Karachi Express, Khyber Mail Express, Green Line Express, Tezgam Express, Karakoram Express, Millat Express, Sir Syed Express and Jaffer Express were delayed for two hours.

In this regard, the railways administration said that the train operations have been affected due to inclement weather.
