‘Govt to promote new tourist spots in province’

Tourism Enforcement Force will also be set up to protect and guide tourists

Special Assistant to Chief Minister (SACM) Spokesperson for the Punjab Government Hasaan Khawar has said the installation of glamping pods and parkway project for tourists in Kotli Satiyan have been completed, while the tourism highway was in the final stages of completion.

These views were expressed by SACM to Chief Minister Punjab Hasaan Khawar while presiding over a meeting of the Punjab Tourism Department to review the progress on ongoing and future projects.

“These projects will soon be inaugurated by Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar,” he said. Hasaan Khawar further said a single-decker bus service for tourists in three cities of South Punjab in the style of double-decker buses in Lahore is also being launched soon, the scope of which will gradually be extended to other tourist destinations later.

“Tourism Enforcement Force will also be set up to protect and guide tourists. Work is underway to open new tourist destinations,” he said.
