Tragedy: Four of a family killed in roof collapse

MIRPUR: Four people of a family, including two minor children were killed as the roof of a house collapsed in Mirpur. Muhammad Siddique, 26, a resident of a slum located near Sector F/2, was asleep with his wife Sughra Begum, 24, at night when the roof of their house caved in. During the incident, their three-year-old daughter Muqadas, and their son, Naceed, 1.5, were also killed. Sources in the neighbourhood said that they checked on Siddique and his wife during Sehri time. However, upon receiving no response from them, they entered the house and found all four members lying under debris. Their bodies were recovered by local people.
