Man dies, five injured in bus-truck collision

A man died while five others suffered injuries in a bus-truck collision on GT Road on Saturday.
Rescue 1122 spokesman said that the accident took place due to the negligence of the driver of the passenger bus.
The injured were shifted to Gujar Khan Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.
A spokesman for Rescue 1122 said that the accident took place due to the negligence of the driver of the passenger bus. He added that the rescue workers had to cut through the body of the bus to retrieve the trapped passengers.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Majeed while the injured included Nimrah Bibi, Zain, Adeel, Owais and Mushtaq.
Meanwhile, four people were injured during two robbery incidents in the garrison city on Saturday.
The first incident took place in the New Katarian Market area, while the second incident took place at a market on Rawal Road.
