FAISALABAD: Batala Colony police have claimed that the man they arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of killing his brother, Sardar Khawar, sister-in-law and their three children has confessed to his crime. They said Ali Asghar admitted to killing the five in collusion with a neighbour Zaheer Malik alias Mota. The police said they had also recovered the weapons used to slaughter the family. Ali Asghar had disappeared after the bodies of his brother and the rest of the family were discovered rotting in their house by police and neighbours. Police said his accomplice, Malik, had also been arrested in a raid on Tuesday night. Police said both suspects would be presented before a court on Thursday.
