No Aid: Machi village residents complain
Flood affected people have complained that they did not receive any help from government to reconstruct their houses
RAJANPUR:
Flood affected people of a Rajanpur village have complained that they have yet to receive any help from government to reconstruct their houses.
They said they had been living in makeshift houses and tents set up on the debris of their homes. They said there were at least 50 families in the village. “After spending some time in a relief camp, we came back and are since living here. We lack means to reconstruct our homes,” they said. They said they were sent back with an assurance assistance would be provided for reconstruction. They appealed to the provincial and federal governments to address their grievances.
