In pictures: Saboor Aly's wedding begins with a dholki

Looks like congratulations are in order for actors Saboor Aly and Ali Ansari who are rumoured to tie the knot this month. The couple, who was recently in the news for Ansari's sister, Mariam Ansari's wedding nuptials, announced engagement last year in May. Now, gossip is that the duo will soon be walking down the aisle in a dreamy wedding. 

To add fire to the fuel, pictures of Saboor's first dholki made rounds on social media. Makeup artist Sara Ali and actors Kinza Hashmi and Amar Khan took to Instagram and confirmed the event to be Saboor's first dholki.

Saboor looked radiant clad in a violet velvet outfit and a gorgeous pair of gajrey, while Kinza and Amar matched in ivory ensembles. 

The couple will apparently tie the knot on January 22. 

Earlier, a video of the couple allegedly arguing during Mariam's Mehendi went viral. Saboor later took to social media, quashing rumours about having a heated disucssion. After a media outlet reposted the video, along with the caption, “Celebrity couple Saboor Aly and Ali Ansari seem to be in a serious discussion while on the dance floor at his sister’s wedding function,” Saboor took to her Instagram stories to clap back at the people invading her privacy. 

The starlet, sharing a screenshot of the media outlet’s post, wrote, “This serious discussion was actually about how me and Ali were uncomfortable [because] of the people recording us without our consent, but we still had a lot of fun! Thanks for all the love and concern!”
