Dangerous gang of robbers busted in Sindh
The Shahdadpur Police have busted a gang based in the interior of Sindh and arrested one of its members who is the main accused in the case of murder of a minor girl in Shah Latif Town area of Karachi.
A group of robbers had robbed a mini-mart in Shah Latif Town a few weeks ago and while fleeing exchanged fire with the security guard in which four-year-old Harmain, who was riding a motorbike with her brother, was shot in the head.
Police have already arrested Piyar Ali, an accused injured in the encounter, who made sensational disclosures about other members of the group, revealing his ancestral background from Sanghar. He said he was one of a seven-member dangerous robbery gang which includes Peeru, Gullu, Naeem, Akbar, Ghulam Shabir and Haq Nawaz, all of whom belong to Shahdadpur.

In this regard, SSP Sanghar Dr. Farrukh Ali said that SHO Shahdadpur, Inspector Javed Ahmed Jalbani along with his team arrested Ghulam Shabbir, the main accused in the case, from Maldisi area in an injured condition after an encounter.
Police were conducting raids in search of others. The accused arrested by Shahdadpur police has revealed that his gang goes to Karachi and commits robberies in different places, especially targeting the medical stores.
The gang has been committing robberies in Karachi for the last two years. Police said that Ghulam Shabbir is a habitual criminal and his criminal record is also being checked. The arrested accused will be handed over to Karachi Police for further investigation.
