2021 busy year for Rescue 1122 Abbottabad

ABBOTABAD:

Five stations of Rescue 1122 district Abbottabad, including Nathiagali, have provided 5,537 health services during the previous year.

This was disclosed in the performance report for the year 2021.

Rescue 1122 Abbottabad also responded to 447 traffic accidents and provided medical services to the injured. Mobile teams provided first aid to the injured, many of whom were also shifted to different hospitals of Abbottabad, where 44 victims injured severely in different cases lost their lives.

During the year 2021, out of the total 5,537 reported emergencies, Rescue 1122 Abbottabad provided services to 4,238 medical emergencies, 218 fire incidents, four drowning incidents and 28 miscellaneous emergencies.

Meanwhile, 1,764 injured and patients of other medical emergencies were shifted to various hospitals, wherein owing to the various referral emergencies, the rescue staff shifted 170 people to other districts and 1,594 were shifted to various hospitals of district Abbottabad.

Rescue 1122 also provided different services in 426 assorted incidents and remained busy throughout the year to facilitate the public in the district.
