Formula One: Di Resta admits to playing catch-up

The Briton admits he is now trying to secure a top drive to challenge for the title.

LONDON: Paul di Resta feels that he is playing catch-up with his former Formula Three rivals Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton having made his Formula One debut this season. Di Resta beat Vettel to the Formula Three Euroseries titlein 2006. From that point, however, Di Resta’s career has taken a different path to both Hamilton and Vettel. The Briton admits he is now trying to secure a top drive to challenge for the title. “When he got to F1, Sebastian did an incredible job,” he said. “It’s also true that I can’t say what I would’ve done if I had his chances.”
