Action taken in 94 medicine-related cases

Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department Secretary Imran Sikandar Baloch has said the action was taken against 94 medicines cases, while 60 regular and 34 cases for testing appeal were taken under observation.
He expressed these views while chairing the 237th meeting of the Provincial Quality Control Board on Friday. He said as many as 34 cases of board retesting were sent to the National Institute of Health (NIH), meanwhile, 16 cases were forwarded to the drug courts and the last warning was issued in 29 cases.
The P&SHD secretary instructed the authorities concerned to follow good manufacturing practice (GMP).
