Truant health workers face action

T h e S i n d h H e a l t h Department immediately suspended 21 doctors and 12 paramedical staff who were absent from duty.

The suspended doctors and paramedics were stationed at the district health office in Tharparkar district but were constantly absent from duty.

The Health Secretary forwarded the suspension orders to the District Health Officer, Tharparkar District. The suspended medical officers include Dr. Rahul Rai of Mithi, Dr. Himmat Kumar of Dahlai, Dr. Om Prakash of Diplo, Dr. Amit and Dr. Amish of Islamkot, and Dr. Gordon of Kalaui, among others.
