Suspect opened fire at his elder brother after a heated argument

A man killed his elder brother in Hamid Jhangi, in the limits of Mandira police station.

Gujar Khan SDPO, along with Mandira police reached the site. According to the preliminary investigation, a man opened fire at his elder brother Muhammad Ali, 26, after a heated argument over some issue. The deceased was shot in the chest and legs and died on the spot.

The body was shifted to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Gujar Khan for postmortem.

The suspect fled the crime scene. Police said that the suspect will be arrested soon.

Meanwhile, police are looking into a case in which an influential pump owner beat up a tanker driver in the limits of Gujar Khan police station.

Police said that Gul Faraz Khan, who was subjected to violence, starts working from Sihala Oil Depot. On December 25, he was asked to deliver oil to Missa Keswal.

As he was advised, he went there and asked petrol pump owner, Sardar Aqil, to unload the tanker. But Aqil refused and asked him to get it unloaded at a petrol station in Attock. The victim asked Aqil to contact the oil depot. So, Aqil along with his son and petrol pump manager took him to another petrol pump at gunpoint and beat him black and blue.

Eventually, Khan managed to escape and reached the police station. A case has been registered in this regard.
