SAPM inaugurates solar filtration plant in Hazro

Amin Aslam says national identity cards of citizens will be considered as health cards

A new water filtration plant has been inaugurated at Mohalla Mehrpura in Hazro on Monday.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) for Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam, accompanied by the local leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was also present at the inauguration ceremony.

Elaborating on the mode of operation, the SAPM said, “This filtration plant will be operated through solar energy, saving electricity in the process.”

“Five filtration plants have been established for the supply of clean drinking water in Attock city, with 45 water filtration plants installed across the constituency,” he said. Soon their number will be increased to 100 for public convenience, he added. Aslam said that the development of public works amounting Rs10 million in each union council of NA-55 will also begin soon.

He added that Prime Minister Imran Khan was aware of the problems of the common man, and assured that they would be inevitably be reduced. “It is now become possible to provide basic necessities to several remote areas,” he added.

Additionally, the SAPM also revealed that from January 1, the identity card of every person in Attock district will be considered as his health card. Citizens can now get treatment up to Rs1 million from specific hospitals, he added.

In the end, he assured the public that the monster of inflation will be brought under control very soon, bringing relief to the common man.
