It's been almost three years since Bran Stark took over the seven kingdoms but seems like fans are still taking their sweet time to get over their worst heartbreak. However, actor Peter Dinklage wants people to "move on" from the Game of Thrones finale, as he believes the series did a good job of "subverting" people's expectations.

A Change.org petition was launched when the present wrapped calling for a re-do, however, Dinklage says folks simply needed to see “the pretty white people” have a contented ending, reported People. The actor, who played the wise Tyrion Lannister in the award-winning series, shared, “They wanted the pretty white people to ride off into the sunset together. By the way, it’s fiction. There are dragons in it. Move on.”

The Cyrano actor additionally stated the fantasy collection was good at “subverting” viewer expectations and stated he notably appreciated the scenes by which a dragon burned the iron throne – because it signalled that no one could be topped King or Queen of Westeros on the finish of the collection.

He added, “No, but the show subverts what you think, and that’s what I love about it. Yeah, it was called Game of Thrones, but at the end, the whole dialogue when people would approach me on the street was, ‘Who’s going to be on the throne?’ I don’t know why that was their takeaway because the show really was more than that."

Dinklage further divulged, “One of my favorite moments was when the dragon burned the throne as a result of its type of simply killed that complete dialog, which is de facto irreverent and sort of good on behalf of the present’s creators: ‘Shut up, it is not about that.’ They constantly did that, where you thought one thing and they delivered another. Everybody had their own stories going on while watching that show, but nobody was as good as what the show delivered, I think.”

The actor thinks the principal cause folks had been sad with the ending of the present was as a result of they did not like the concept of the drama not being on air. He advised The New York Times, “I think the reason there was some backlash about the ending is because they were angry at us for breaking up with them."

He added, "We had been going off the air they usually did not know what to do with their Sunday nights anymore. They needed extra so that they backlashed about that. We needed to finish once we did, as a result of what the present was actually good at was breaking preconceived notions: Villains turned heroes, and heroes turned villains. It was the right time. No less, no more. You don’t want to wear out your welcome, although I’m not sure that show could have.”
