Sushmita Sen confirms split with beau, vows to 'stay best friends'

Bollywood actor Sushmita Sen took to Instagram on Thursday to open up about her bittersweet break-up with boyfriend Rohman Shawl, affirming that they will ‘remain friends’.

Sharing a photo of the two, the Mai Hoon Na starlet revealed that the relationship was long over. However, that did not end things between them. Sushmita, sharing the dynamic of their current relationship, wrote in the caption, “We began as friends, we remain friends! The relationship was long over but the love remains!” She ended the statement with a heart emoji.

Sushmita’s post also included hashtags ‘no more speculations’ along with ‘cherished memories’ and ‘live and let live’.  With consistent rumours about Rohman moving out of Sushmita’s house and the two unfollowing each other on Instagram, there were many speculations about whether the relationship ended or not.

Rohman also reshared the photo with the same caption. 

The Aarya 2 actor’s Instagram post suddenly opening up about her breakup seems like a statement effort to confirm the speculations and clarify their relationship status before misconstrued information became the talk of the town.

The news of the duo dating surfaced in 2018 when Sushmita in an interview with Zoom spilled the beans on her relationship with Rohman. The two initially met through Instagram DMs and soon after, they started making appearances together on each other’s social media handles.

What started from Instagram eventually closed up there only – Oh, the full circle of life.
