Twitter to introduce automatic captions for videos
In a recent tweet, the company announced that it took user feedback and is now introducing automatic captions for videos. Now users will have auto-generated captions to their audio/videos tweets. The feature will be available on all software, iOS, Android, and the web, in most languages.
The automatic captions will only appear on newly uploaded videos and will not be applicable to the previously uploaded content. A Twitter spokesman told The Verge, that users can report captions that are inaccurate or simply bad, even though he admitted that the company was always "looking at ways to improve our accessibility features."
This feature is also available for Twitter Spaces, an audio room platform.
