Child escapes molestation bid by crying for help

DIJKOT:

A woman and two minor children were allegedly raped while a girl child foiled a sexual assault by crying for help in separate incidents.

Reportedly, a woman was alone at home when suspect Muhammad Iqbal, a close relative of the victim came to her house on the pretext of negotiations over some family issue and raped her at gunpoint.

Ghulam Muhammadabad police registered a case against the suspect under Section 376 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and started a search for him.

Meanwhile, a minor boy was molested in Hajveri Town, an area near Sargodha Road. Reportedly, suspect Bilal molested the 9-year-old victim near Sargodha Road on the pretext of taking him to a gaming spot.

Another minor boy was also molested in the city. The 11-year-old victim was lured by suspect Mubeen who took him to nearby crops and raped him.

Meanwhile, a minor girl was going to a shop to buy groceries when suspect Muhammad Shehzad forcibly took her to nearby bushes and tried to rape her, but she foiled the assault by crying for help and running away. The police registered a case under Sections 376 and 511 of PPC and started a search for the suspect.
