Five bodies found in mountains in Punjgur

Bodies were collected and shifted to local hospital for autopsy

Five bullet-riddled bodies were found in the mountainous area of Panjgur district of Balochistan near Iranian border, official sources told The Express Tribune.

Levies officials said that local residents of Pere Jhal, Panjgur district informed the district administration that unidentified people had dumped five bodies in the mountains following which a contingent of levies was sent to the area who recovered the bodies.

“All of them had been shot dead in Pere Jhal locality of Panjgur district near the Iran border,” Ziaullah Langove, advisor to the Chief Minister Balochistan on Home and tribal affairs confirmed.

Levies personnel said that all the bodies were collected and shifted to local hospital for autopsy.

“Each one of the unfortunate men had been shot multiple times as was evident from the bodies. These men were local residents who went to the mountains for hunting a day ago and on Wednesday their bodies were found,” they said.

“Among the dead are two real brothers from Panjgur,” said the officials, adding that the bodies were identified as Hamza, Amanullah, Dawood, Shoaib and Khalil.
