KARACHI:

Aimlessly reprobating Prime Minister Imran Khan for pushing the country into the mire of inflation, PPP Chairperson Bilawal Zardari on Thursday said his party will hold nationwide protests on December 10 (today) against inflation.

Reacting to the increase in electricity prices by Rs4.74 per unit, Bilawal said PM Imran had turned from a local to a global puppet by raising price of electricity at the behest of the International Monetary Fund.

The PPP chief alleged that billions of rupees have already been looted from the people by increasing the electricity prices annually from the November bills.

“What happened to those big claims made for economic growth?” he questioned. “Imran Khan is the culprit of the nation who pushed the people into the mire of inflation and we will not forgive him.”

Bilawal also highlighted that PPP was the only party that raised their voice against the PTI-IMF budget.
