Two students, teacher killed in road accident in Jhelum
At least two students and a teacher were killed, and over 25 were injured after a vehicle fell from a bridge onto a railways track in Dina, Jhelum, on Sunday.
The vehicle was taking a school trip from Lahore to Murree when it met with an accident on GT Road near Jhelum. As soon as the report of the accident reached the rescue authorities, they rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to the hospital.
Hospital officials said that the condition of four people was critical.
One of the passengers told the media that the driver tried to overtake a vehicle but lost control, resulting in the vehicle falling from the bridge onto a railways track.

In a statement, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry expressed grief over the loss of human lives in the tragic accident.
The minister prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved families to bear this loss with fortitude.
The minister also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Last month, at least three school-going children died as a result of a collision between a school bus and a train on the outskirts of Lahore.
