Jeep rally held in Abbottabad

Such a platform in Abbottabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa the jeep rally is a positive message of peace

ABBOTABAD:

A large number of professional drivers from Abbottabad, Muzaffarabad, Dera Ismail Khan, and the jeep club took part in the jeep rally in Harnoi, Abbottabad.

The Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) and Hazara Automotive Community jointly organised the event. MPA Momina Basit, who also attended the event, said the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf-led federal and provincial governments have taken measures to promote tourism in the Hazara Division.

She added Abbottabad is a unique place and important in terms of tourism, the jeep rally in collaboration with the GDA has provided ample opportunities to the youth.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Hazara Mirvais Niaz while congratulating the jeep drivers and appreciating their skill on the track, said that from such a platform in Abbottabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa the jeep rally is a positive message of peace and for the people that Pakistan is safe for sports.

Later, she also awarded trophies and certificates to the position holders of the jeep rally. The event started at 9 am and concluded at 4pm.
