Passing out ceremony of ANF personnel held in Nowshehra

The passing out batch comprised 358 personnel including women officers and officials

The passing out parade of 358 personnel of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) was held in Nowshehra on Wednesday, according to an official statement.

"Federal Minister for Narcotics Control Brigadier (retd) Ijaz Ahmed Shah was the chief guest," the ANF said in the communique.

"The event was attended by officers of armed forces, ANF, police, foreign dignities and families of the passed out personnel."

The batch included two assistant directors, five inspectors, 28 sub-inspectors, 37 assistant sub-inspectors and 286 constables, it said, adding that the batch also included women officers and officials.

"The chief guest and Director General ANF Major General Ghulam Shabeer Narejo congratulated the passed out personnel on the occasion and extended best wishes for their professional career," the statement said, adding, "Shields and prizes were also awarded to the distinguished trainees."

The statement also said that the federal minister and DG ANF thanked the Pakistan Army for the provision of quality training to ANF officials which will help enhance the proficiency of the force.
