‘Justojoo’ exhibition displays stellar artistic lineup

ISLAMABAD:

A group painting exhibition titled ‘Justojoo’ was organised under the auspices of the Punjab Arts Council on Tuesday.

Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Vice President Talat Mahmood Awan inaugurated the exhibition, along with Arts Council Deputy Director Sajjad Hussain, and RCCI Executive Member Waqas Bin Mahmood, along with several other artists.

Famous creatives including Khurram Shahbaz Babri, Azeem Iqbal, Mohammad Younis Rumi, Imran Soomro, Waheed Khan, Shah Nawaz Ansari, Amir Nazir Ranjha, Iqra Qurban, Shamsa Kanwal, Wajid Ali, Shagufta Yaseen, Nasir Rehman, and Dr Nabeela Faryal participated in the exhibition. The work of different genres was put on display by artists. This included calligraphy, landscape, cityscape, portrait and imagery.

Awan addressed the inaugural session and said that Allah Almighty was the greatest Creator of the universe. “It was Allah Almighty who awakens the creative talents in the artists,” he added.

“The Arts Council brings together the different colors of Islamic calligraphy, nature and natural environment under one roof,” he said.
