Moot to discuss education-related issues

The Ministry of Education Punjab has convened an important conference of the Chief Executive Officers of the District Education Authorities of all 36 districts of Punjab on December 1 to discuss a 15-point agenda.
In a circular issued by the Ministry of Education Punjab to all District Education Officers, the conference will take into account dangerous school buildings, vacant teachers’ seats and other missing facilities in educational institutions.
The meeting is also expected to decide on the complete restoration of sports activities at the school level across the province after the coronavirus is over.
The conference will also discuss the up-gradation of schools. At the conference, the registration of all private schools across the province under a new law will be reviewed.
In this regard, the district officers have been directed to bring details and data of all the registered and unregistered schools in the districts.
Instructions have also been issued to bring the list and data of the students who have submitted Form B in the schools. The conference will be chaired by Provincial Education Minister Murad Rass.
