Two women lured with job offer, raped in Dijkot

Two women were allegedly sexually assaulted after being lured on the pretext of job interviews.

A complainant told police that Ali Raza and two other suspects called his sister to a factory with a promise to get her employed, but raped her.

Police registered a case against the suspects and launched a search for them.

Meanwhile, another complainant told the police that a woman was called on the pretext of a job interview by suspects Hamza Sohail, Osama and Zain in Faisalabad and allegedly raped.

The police registered a case against the suspects under Section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC). In another incident, in Chak No. 363GB, a man’s attempt to assault a minor girl was thwarted.
