Boxing: Khan aims to fight Morales
Amir Khan is trying to convince Erik Morales that fighting him will be more lucrative than fighting Timothy Bradley.
LONDON:
Amir Khan is trying to convince Erik Morales that fighting him will be more lucrative than fighting Timothy Bradley, as the WBA and IBF champion looks to secure his next opponent. Khan has long hoped to face Bradley, who has so far been reluctant to enter negotiations with the Bolton-born boxer, prompting him to turn his attention to Morales. “If Bradley fights Morales next that would be frustrating because I’ve been calling Bradley out, but he doesn’t want to fight me,” said Khan. “It depends on Morales, he can make more money fighting me than Bradley and it would be a bigger fight as well.”
