SHC seeks investigation report on MPA’s petition
The Sindh High Court (SHC) has sought an investigation report on the charges of creating fake accounts, making assets beyond means and corruption against Sindh Assembly member, Ali Hassan Zardari, on a petition filed by him seeking permission to leave the country.
The bench, headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto, heard the petition. The investigating officer said, if Ali Hassan Zardari leaves the country, he will not return. "Evidence against Ali Hassan Zardari is being examined as he is accused of making assets beyond means," the investigation officer said, adding that Ali Hassan was a co-accused in the fake accounts case against former president Asif Ali Zardari.

The petitioner's counsel advocate Raj Ali Wahid argued that Ali Hassan Zardari previously left the country. "We are ready to furnish any guarantee the court needs," the counsel said, adding the court may keep the passport of Ali Hassan's son as surety.
Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto remarked that a report should be submitted in three weeks after reviewing evidence against Ali Hassan Zardari.
