Man kills brother over property dispute

Police say suspect fled after committing crime

RAWALPINDI:

A man killed his brother and injured his cousin over a property dispute in the Chah Sultan area in the jurisdiction of Waris Khan police station on Monday.

Rescue 1122 teams reached the site after receiving information. Police said that the suspect fled after committing the crime. They added that Nadeem Akhtar, 40, died while Imran Gul Zaman, 37, was badly injured. The casualties were shifted to the Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH).

The police officials said that the locals told them that both brothers had a dispute over property.

They added that the injured is being treated at BBH and his statement will be recorded after his condition gets better.
